Iced Lemon, Ginger, Rooibos & Honey Iced Tea

This rooibos-based drink can be served hot, or refreshingly cold.



Iced Lemon, Ginger, Rooibos & Honey Mocktail

Ingredients

  • 5 Rooibos or Ceylon teabags

  • 1 or 2 fresh lemons, sliced

  • thumb-size piece of fresh ginger, grated or cut into matchsticks

  • 3 or 4 tbsp honey

  • 8 bruised or chiffonade (sliced) fresh mint leaves, or half a grated pineapple (optional)


Directions

  1. Place all the ingredients in in a 1,5 L jug. Fill the jug with boiling water, and stir.

  2. Let it steep and drink it warm if you prefer. However, I prefer it cold, so let it cool down and serve with lots of ice.

  3. Enjoy.
