This Naartjie Pudding Sauce is just what you need to use up all the naartjies currently in season. It goes deliciously well with an old-fashioned buttermilk pudding.
I made this naartjie sauce to go with an old-fashioned buttermilk pudding (pictured above and below), which was served with custard. The light beige colour of the buttermilk pudding is due to brown sugar used instead of white sugar. The pudding was served with a Kanu dessert wine (Sauvignon Blanc Noble Late Harvest). Mense, dis baie lekker!
