Who doesn't love a good lamb chop recipe? If midweek madness has you eyeballing the take away menu try this quick and easy lamb chop meal.
The marinade is easy to pull off and it’s suitable for the grill or the braai. Did we mention that its delicious too?
It is simply a matter of mixing it all together and allowing the lamb chops to soak up all the flavour. You can substitute the oregano for rosemary - it’s your choice. Serve with a side of veggies for a healthy midweek meal.

Serves: 4
Ingredients
1 Tsp Margarine (we like Sunshine D)
1/2 Tsp lemon zest
2 Tsp lemon juice
2 Tsp fresh oregano chopped
2 Tsp garlic minced
1/2 Tsp salt
Pinch of pepper
8 lamb chops (trimmed of fat)
Method
Melt the margarine over a low heat and add the lemon zest, lemon juice, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper. Mix well.
Pour into a sealable container and add the lamb chops.
Seal the container and allow to marinate for 1 hour.
Grill or braai the chop for about 4 minutes per side (medium rare).
