The global pandemic has caused women leaders, in the business world and corporate South Africa, to regress in so many ways. Yet, for resilient women who continue to take up space and relentlessly rise, these difficult times have driven them to focus more on unleashing their #BlackGirlMagic and entrepreneurial power in the workplace.
It is against this backdrop that the contributors of the 2020 Women’s Report, in partnership with Mosadi Online, are hosting a webinar for women leaders who are navigating the challenges of corporate South Africa and business during this global pandemic.
The event, which is set to take place on 11 February 2021, will allow attendees to share their lived experiences while gaining practical tips for their career or business. Very little is written about black women’s workplace successes and wisdom and the 2020 Women's Report addresses this discrepancy by celebrating black women’s excellence.
The contributors of the report include:
Christine ChiChi Kere, established careerpreneur, coach consultant and author of the paper Unleash Black women’s entrepreneurial power.
Dr Phumzile Mmope, leadership communication coach, strategic communication consultant and author of the paper Embrace #BlackGirlMagic in the workplace.
Nastassja Wessels, brand specialist, cultural professional in the making and author of the paper Understand the double bind black women experience in today’s workplace.
The discussions will be facilitated by sought-after international coach Nobantu Mpotulo.
